1.7.11. Features of work of an automatic transmission

At a troganiye from a place (at the working engine) before including transfer, completely squeeze out a brake pedal that the car did not start to slide slowly. The car will begin movement at once as soon as transfer will be included. Be especially attentive when the engine works at high turns (on the raised turns of idling or at the working conditioner); to release a pedal of a brake follows only while you will be ready to begin movement.
To press a pedal of a brake follows only the right foot. Use for this purpose of the left foot slows down reaction of the driver at emergence of an emergency situation.
To avoid sudden acceleration, it is not necessary to increase strongly engine turns when translating selector from the situation "N" or "R".
Acceleration when overtaking
For fast acceleration of the car when overtaking at position of the Selector of an automatic transmission «D» ("Movement"), squeeze out an accelerator pedal against the stop. Thus automatically there will be a switching from the fourth transfer on the third, with the third on the second or with the second on the first according to speed of the car, in this case there is no need to switch the transmission selector from situation "D" ("Movement").

In a manual mode of gear shifting by pressing of a pedal of an accelerator against the stop there is no automatic switching on low gears.

Movement on lifting
The transmission can not be switched to higher transfer if the electronic control unit defines that the current speed of the car cannot be provided at inclusion of higher transfer.
For ensuring smooth driving of the car if you release an accelerator pedal at movement on lifting, the transmission, can will not be switched to higher transfer. It is normal, as the electronic control unit in this operating mode temporarily prevents gear shifting. On reaching lifting top the automatic transmission passes to a usual mode of gear shifting.

Movement on descent
At movement down, under an abrupt bias, the electronic control unit will automatically include a low gear. This function allows to strengthen efficiency of braking by the engine, thereby, reducing need of use by brake system of the car.

At short stops, for example, before a traffic light at an intersection, transfer can be not switched off, and to hold the car on a place by means of a working brake (pressing a brake pedal). At more long stops with working engine it is necessary to transfer the selector of an automatic transmission to the situation "N" (neutral).

Never hold the car on a bias, having included transfer and pressing an accelerator pedal. Always use the working and/or parking brake.

Do not press needlessly an accelerator pedal when braking car. Thus the car can unexpectedly be dispersed, if the selector is not in the situation "R" ("Parking") or «N» («Neutral situation»).p-ri troganiya from a place be convinced that the selector is in situation "D".

At car statement on parking, first of all, completely stop it and up to the end lift the lever of the parking brake. Then transfer the selector of an automatic transmission to the situation "R". If you are going to leave the car without supervision, muffle the engine and take out the ignition key.

At a stop on a bias before transferring the selector of an automatic transmission to the situation "R" at first surely up to the end lift the lever of the parking brake. If at first to transfer the selector lever to the situation "R" and only then to lift the lever of the parking brake, it can appear that in attempt to get under way from a place it is required bigger (than usually) effort for transfer of the selector to other situation.
