1.7.15. Spare wheel

Check pressure of air in a spare wheel weekly to make sure that it is suitable for application in case of failure. Supporting in a spare wheel the most admissible pressure established by technical requirements, you can be sure that it can be applied at any modes of driving (in city conditions, when driving on the high-speed highway, when driving with various weight of cargo etc.). The spare wheel is stored under a floor of a luggage compartment.

Extraction of a spare wheel (for cars with a compact spare wheel)
Spare wheel
Lift a floor of a luggage compartment and fix a hook And, as is shown in drawing. The hook is on inside of a floor of a luggage compartment.
Spare wheel
Lift a floor ware box of a luggage compartment and fix a hook loop in a cut of Century.
Spare wheel
Unscrew a bolt of fastening of a spare wheel, rotating a ballonny key counter-clockwise. Take a spare wheel.

Storage of a spare wheel
Clean spare on storage, having executed described above operation upside-down.

Compact spare wheel
Purpose of a compact spare wheel consists, first, in economy of space in a luggage compartment, and, secondly, in view of smaller weight, in simplification of procedure of replacement of the lowered wheel.

ATTENTION
Pressure is necessary to check and support periodically pressure of the specified size in the tire of a spare wheel during its storage. Driving at insufficient pressure in the tire can lead to a road accident (failure). If there is no other exit (except movement at insufficient pressure in the tire) reduce speed of movement and as soon as possible find possibility to finish pressure of air to the specified size.

The compact spare wheel serves only for temporary use and should be replaced immediately after repair or replacement of a full-size wheel.
When using a compact spare wheel do not exceed speed of movement of the car of 80 km/h.
Stability and controllability at a compact spare wheel is worse, than at a full-size wheel. When using a compact spare wheel, avoid driving with sharp acceleration, sharp braking and sharp turns of a wheel.
Avoid automatic sinks and driving in subjects which can damage the car bottom. As the compact spare wheel less full-size wheel, a road clearance (distance between the lower part of the car and a road surface) the car is considerably reduced.
The compact spare wheel is developed specially for the concrete car and should not be used on any other vehicles.
Do not put on an antisliding chain a compact spare wheel as on a wheel of the smaller size the chain will not be reliably fixed. It can serve as the reason of damage of a wheel and утери to an antisliding chain. If lowered a forward wheel with the put-on chain of antisliding, at first remove a back wheel, put on its place a compact spare wheel, then the removed back wheel put instead of the forward lowered wheel, and, thus, again it is possible to use antisliding chains.
It is not necessary to establish the tire from a spare compact wheel on any other rims, and also it is not necessary to establish the standard tire, the winter tire, decorative caps or rims on a disk of a spare compact wheel. If such attempt is undertaken, it will lead or to damage of the above-stated details, or to damage of other details of the car.
After installation of a compact spare wheel the general height of the car decreases a little, as diameter of a compact spare wheel less than diameter of a standard wheel. Therefore when moving through roughnesses and ledges of the road consider this circumstance and do not operate the car in the same manner, as on standard wheels.
Do not establish at the same time more than one compact spare wheel.
At emergence on a protector of the indicator of wear of the tire it is necessary to replace this tire.
