1.7.21. Fuses

Block of safety locks
To prevent electrosystem damage because of short for mykaniye or the overloads, each separate electric chain is equipped with the fuse. Blocks of safety locks are available in salon and in a motor compartment of the car.
In car salon the block of safety locks is located behind a ware box which is before sitting of the driver, as is shown in drawing.
In a motor compartment the block of safety locks is located, as is shown in drawing.

Rated currents of fuses
Rated currents of fuses and the name of electric systems corresponding to them are put on compartment inside for coins – for the safety locks located in a zone of feet of the driver, and on a cover of the block of safety locks – for the block of safety locks in a motor compartment.

Car salon

NOTE
Spare fuses are established in the block of safety locks. For replacement of the fused safety lock always use a safety lock with the same value of rated current.

Depending on model of the concrete car and its complete set some of the listed safety locks can not be established.
In the provided table the capital equipment relating to a safety lock, protecting chains of this equipment is specified.


Spare safety locks do not enter into the block of safety locks 7,5 And, 10 And and 15 A.Esli one of safety locks of this capacity failed replace it, having used thus respectively one of the following safety locks:
7,5 And – cruise control;
10 And – a conditioner kopressor;
15 And – the lighter.
At the first possibility replace safety locks.


Fuse replacement
Before fuse replacement surely switch off an electric chain which protects this safety lock, and establish the ignition key in the situation "LOCK" ("Blocking").
Open a ware box.
Pull a ware box on itself till the end pull out it.
Remove a stripper In from a cover of the block of safety locks And.
According to the table of rated currents of safety locks check a safety lock which protects the failed chain.
With – a serviceable safety lock.
D–the fused safety lock.

NOTE
If the system does not work, but the safety lock serving this chain did not fuse, a cause of defect is something another, and for its identification and elimination address to the official dealer of MITSUBISHI.

By means of a stripper insert the new fuse with the same value of rated current on the same place in the block of safety locks where was fused.

ATTENTION
Never establish the fuse with value of rated current more established by technical requirements, and also any substitutes of safety locks, for example, a wire, a foil, etc. It can lead to an overheat of electroconducting and cause a fire.
