1.7.3. Trailer towage

For trailer towage the car should be equipped with the traction coupling device meeting all the corresponding requirements of rules, operating in your country. Installation of the traction coupling device should be made by the official dealer of MITSUBISHI. Rules of towage of trailers in the various countries can be different. It is recommended to adhere to the rules operating in the host country.

NOTE
Installation of the traction coupling device demands special skills and the equipment.

The maximum mass of the trailer equipped with brakes and the maximum load of the coupling device
Never exceed the most permissible load on the coupling device, specified in technical characteristics. At trailer towage at height more than 1000 m and more above sea level should be reduced mass of the trailer by 10 % from full weight of the car with the trailer from each 1000 m of height above sea level as because of decrease in atmospheric pressure effective power of the engine decreases.

Car driving with the trailer
