1.7.3. Trailer towageFor trailer towage the car should be equipped with the traction coupling device meeting all the corresponding requirements of rules, operating in your country. Installation of the traction coupling device should be made by the official dealer of MITSUBISHI. Rules of towage of trailers in the various countries can be different. It is recommended to adhere to the rules operating in the host country.
NOTE
Installation of the traction coupling device demands special skills and the equipment.

The maximum mass of the trailer equipped with brakes and the maximum load of the coupling device
Never exceed the most permissible load on the coupling device, specified in technical characteristics. At trailer towage at height more than 1000 m and more above sea level should be reduced mass of the trailer by 10 % from full weight of the car with the trailer from each 1000 m of height above sea level as because of decrease in atmospheric pressure effective power of the engine decreases.
The technical specification on traction coupling device installation
For the correct fastening of the traction coupling device in points And it is recommended to observe the sizes specified in the table, given below (values are given in mm).

Car driving with the trailer
Do not allow coupling pro-slipping (on cars with a mechanical transmission) and do not exceed necessary number of turns of the engine at a troganiye from a place.
When driving car with the trailer do not exceed speed of 100 miles/h.
Do not exceed the maximum speed of movement of the car also officially established in your region with the trailer if it is lower than 100 miles/h.
