Selection of loose leaves of radical bearings of a cranked shaft

NOTE
If the loose leaf needs replacement, choose and establish the loose leaf of the demanded size.

If the cranked shaft is delivered as a spare detail, define color or symbolical labels of radical necks of a cranked shaft, which выштампованы in a place shown in drawing. If identification of a cranked shaft on labels is impossible (labels are absent), measure diameter of each radical neck of a cranked shaft.
Assembly of components of the block of cylinders
Define symbolical identification labels on the block of cylinders (dimensional groups of diameters of openings under radical bearings), which выштампованы in a place shown in drawing, in the direction from a lobby to a back part of the block. The label for a neck No. 1 is located from a forward part of the engine (from a belt of a drive of GRM).
Loose leaves of the radical bearing of a cranked shaft are identified on color and/or symbolical labels which are located, as is shown in drawing.

According to certain labels on cranked to a shaft (or results of measurements of radical necks of a shaft) and identification labels on the block of cylinders pick up the correct loose leaves of radical bearings for the provided table.

Establish the top loose leaf of the radical bearing of a cranked shaft in the block of cylinders. In the top loose leaf of the radical bearing of a cranked shaft there is a flute for a greasing supply.
Establish the bottom loose leaf of the radical bearing of a cranked shaft in a bed of a cranked shaft.
Establish persistent half rings on both parties of the No. radical bearing 3 flutes outside (to a counterbalance cheek).

Before installation of bolts of fastening check that the length of a core for each bolt does not exceed maximum permissible value. If limiting value is exceeded, replace a bolt.
Limiting admissible value (no more): 71,1 mm.

Establish a bed of a cranked shaft on the block of cylinders so that the arrow on it was located from a belt of a drive of GRM.
Put engine oil on a carving of bolts and under their head.
Tighten bolts of fastening of a bed of a cranked shaft the specified moment of an inhaling in the sequence specified in drawing.
Inhaling moment: 25±2 N · m.
Assembly of components of the block of cylinders
Put on a head of each bolt a color label and tighten bolts of fastening of a bed of a cranked shaft (covers of bearings) on a corner 90 ° (1/4 turns) in specified above sequence.

ATTENTION
If the bolt will be tightened on a corner by less than 90 °, fastening of a bed of a cranked shaft will be insufficient.
If the bolt will be tightened on a corner by more than 100 °, unscrew a bolt and repeat inhaling procedure.

Be convinced that the cranked shaft rotates smoothly.
Check an axial gap of a cranked shaft.

Put the specified hermetic on the epiploon case in the places shown in drawing.
MITSUBISHI GENUINE Part No. MD 970389, Three Bond 1207F hermetic or its equivalent.
Apply a thin film engine oil on a working edge of an epiploon on all its circle.

NOTE
Execute installation of the case of an epiploon during 15 mines after hermetic drawing.

After installation do not allow hit of oil and cooling liquid on a surface of the case of the epiploon, covered with hermetic.
Establish the epiploon case on the block of cylinders and tighten bolts of its fastening the nominal moment.
Inhaling moment: 11 ±1 N · m.
