The purpose of this check is measurement of the maximum frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine on ranges of "D" and «R» at completely stopped target shaft of an automatic transmission. On size of this frequency of rotation it is possible to judge operability of the hydrotransformer, the coupling of a free wheeling, and also to define sliding existence in some frictional elements of management of AKP.

ATTENTION
During this check people should not be in front of and behind the car.

Checks of components of management of AKP
Check level and oil temperature in AKP, and also temperature of cooling liquid of the engine.
Oil level: a mark of "NOTES" on measuring щупе.
Oil temperature: 80-100°C.
Temperature of cooling liquid of the engine: 80-100°C.
Establish a lay emphasis under back wheels.
Completely tighten the parking brake and press against the stop a brake pedal.
Get the engine.
Establish the AKP selector lever in situation "D", press against the stop a pedal of an accelerator and define frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine during this moment.

ATTENTION
Do not hold an accelerator pedal in completely pressed condition more than eight seconds.

If this check is carried out in a row two and more times, after each check it is necessary to transfer the AKP selector lever to the situation "N" and let's cool down to oil in AKP to working temperature at operation of the engine with frequency of 1000 mines-1 then it is possible to carry out the following check.
Nominal size of frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine during Stall Test: 2100–2600 mines-1.
Establish the AKP selector lever in the situation "R", press against the stop a pedal of an accelerator and define frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine during this moment.
Nominal size of frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine during Stall Test: 2100–2600 mines-1.

The analysis of results of check on completely braked car
Frequency of rotation of the engine during Stall Test on ranges of "D" and «R» more nominal rate:
low pressure in a control system. Proskalzyvaniye of a brake of the first transfer and backing transfer.
Frequency of rotation of the engine during Stall Test more nominal rate only on a range of "D":
proskalzyvany couplings of lowering transfers.
Frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine during Stall Test more nominal rate only on «R» range: proskalzyvany couplings of a backing.
Frequency of rotation of the engine during Stall Test on ranges of "D" and «R» less than the minimum nominal rate: the hydrotransformer is faulty, the engine is faulty.

Merge oil from an automatic transmission and uncover the block of operating valves.
Pressure adjustment in a buster of the coupling lowering transfers is carried out by means of the adjusting screw shown in drawing.
At rotation of the adjusting screw to the left side pressure increases.

NOTE
Pressure in a buster of the coupling of lowering transfers should correspond to the middle of a nominal range.

Nominal range: 1010–1050 kPas.
One turn of the adjusting screw changes size of pressure upon 35 kPas.
Establish into place a cover of the block of operating valves, and fill in oil in a transmission.
Inspect pressure.
If necessary execute repeated adjustment of pressure in the main highway.

Check of operation of the lever of the AKP selector

Check ease and smoothness of moving of the lever of the AKP selector and its fixing in each situation. Check indications of the indicator of position of the lever of the AKP selector which should coincide with position of the lever.
Check operation of the mechanism of blocking of moving of the lever of the AKP selector (see drawing).
Get the engine and check operation of the mechanism of management as a transmission (when moving lever from the situation "N" to the "D" car should move forward, and when moving the lever to the situation "R" the car should move back).
At detection of malfunctions in the mechanism of management of a transmission carry out adjustment of a cable of the mechanism of the management connecting the lever of the AKP selector to the block of operating valves. Check lack of the increased wear of details of the mechanism of management of AKP.

Establish the AKP selector lever in the situation "N".

Weaken an adjusting nut of fastening of a cable to the lever of the mechanism of management so that to release a cable and the lever.
Establish the lever of the mechanism of management in the situation "N".
Weaken bolts of fastening of the sensor of position of the lever of a choice of a range and turn it so that the opening in a flange of the case of the sensor coincided with an opening on the end of the lever of the mechanism of management (section A-and).
Holding the sensor in this situation, tighten fixing bolts the nominal moment.

Accurately pull a cable connecting the lever of the AKP selector to the block of operating valves, in the direction of the arrow and then tighten an adjusting nut.
Be convinced of that the lever of the AKP selector is in the situation "N".
Check compliance of included transfers to position of the lever of the AKP selector.
Turn the ignition key in any situation except «LOCK» (Blocking), and switch the selector lever at the pressed pedal of a brake and the pressed button of a clamp.
Switch the selector lever, without pressing the clamp button.
Switch the selector lever at the pressed button of a clamp.

If at carrying out described above check malfunction comes to light, adjust a cable of blocking of the lock of ignition in the way described below.
Remove a box of the floor console.
Switch the selector lever in situation P (Parking).
Turn the ignition key in the situation LOCK (Blocking)
Weaken an inhaling of a fixing nut of a cable of blocking of the lock of ignition.
Slightly pressing on connected to a blocking cam a cable in the arrow direction, tighten a fixing nut.
Establish a box of the floor console.

If at carrying out described above check malfunction comes to light, adjust a cable of blocking of switching of AKP modes.
Remove a box of the floor console.
Switch the selector lever in the situation "R" (Parking).
Weaken an inhaling of a fixing nut of a cable of blocking of the lock of ignition.
Tighten a fixing nut when the end of a cable of blocking of switching of AKP modes will reach a red label on a blocking cam.
Establish a box of the floor console.
