3.6.2. Driveshaft check

Check a sliding fork and a fork of an intermediate support on lack of wear, damages or cracks.
Check a driveshaft pipe on lack of a deflection (palpation), deformations and twisting.
Check smoothness of moving of kardanny hinges in all planes.
Check smoothness of rotation of the bearing of an intermediate support of the driveshaft.

Check of palpation of the driveshaft
Establish a driveshaft pipe on prisms and measure shaft palpation by means of the indicator of hour type. Maximum permissible value: 0,6 mm.
