Measurement of corners of installation of wheels by means of the special equipment make on an equal horizontal site. Before measurement of corners of installation of wheels, the condition of a forward suspension bracket, a steering, tires and wheels should be checked.

Convergence
Adjust a convergence of forward wheels, having removed a clamping level and having unscrewed a lock-nut, rotation (in an opposite direction) the right and left coupling coupling of cross-section drafts on the same distance.

ATTENTION
The convergence decreases, if the left coupling coupling to rotate to a forward part of the car, the right coupling coupling to rotate to a back part of the car.

Establish a clamping level and tighten a wheel lock-nut the nominal moment.
Nominal moment of an inhaling: 40 + 5 N · m
Be convinced of that the size of a convergence corresponds to nominal rate.
Using a measuring instrument of radius of turn, be convinced that the angle of rotation corresponds to nominal rate.

Divergence at turn
To check a condition of drafts of a steering, especially for the car which has visited a road accident or at the assumption of it, in addition to check and adjustment of corners of installation of wheels, it is necessary to check and a divergence at turn.
This check is necessary for executing both for left, and for right turns.

Disorder, longitudinal and cross-section tilt angles of an axis of turn

ATTENTION
Disorder and tilt angle of an axis of turn are established at manufacturer and adjustments do not need.

General information
At the weakened nuts of shaft of a drive, check of bearings of naves of wheels is not allowed.

ATTENTION
For cars with wheels from an aluminum alloy: attach a measuring instrument of corners of installation of wheels to a shaft of a drive of a wheel by means of the special adaptation (МВ991004). Fix the special tool the same moment of an inhaling 245 ±29 N · m as a nut of a shaft of a drive.

Check axial люфта spherical hinge of the bottom lever
Lift the car.
Disconnect the lever of the stabilizer of cross-section stability from the bottom lever.
Having shaken hands up-down the lever, check existence люфта in the axial direction of the spherical hinge. In the presence of considerable люфта, replace the bottom lever assembled.

Check of a protective cover of the spherical hinge of the bottom lever
Press out fingers a protective cover of the spherical hinge of the bottom lever so that to be convinced of lack on it of cracks or damages.
In the presence of cracks or damages of a protective cover of the spherical hinge, replace the bottom lever assembled.

ATTENTION
Existence of cracks or damages of a protective cover of the spherical hinge is, as a rule, accompanied by damage of the spherical hinge.
