Check on the car
Check existence of leakages of working liquid from a telescopic rack. Check a condition of a telescopic rack on existence damage or deformations.

Otvorachivaniye of a nut of a telescopic rack (samokontryashcheysyagayka)

ATTENTION
Establish exactly special tool (МВ991238) that its maximum length corresponded to length of a spring.
Use of a shock key for compression of the adaptation (МВ991237) is not allowed: the special tool will break.

For compression of a spring of a suspension bracket use the following special tool.
– МВ991237: the device for spring compression.
– МВ991238: set of levers.

ATTENTION
Application of a shock key for an otvorachivaniye of a nut of a telescopic rack (самоконтрящейся nuts) is not allowed. The vibration proceeding from a shock key, causes a soskalzyvaniye of the special tool (МВ991237 and МВ991238) that leads to a trauma.

Use the following special tool for fixing of a telescopic rack, then probably otvorachivany nuts of a telescopic rack (самоконтрящуюся a nut).
– МВ991681: key.
– МВ991682: face head (key).

Utilization of a telescopic rack

ATTENTION
Dress goggles for protection of eyes against flying metal shaving.

Before delivery in junk, gas should be removed from a telescopic rack. Lay a telescopic rack horizontally and put forward a rack rod. Drill an opening in diameter about 3 mm in a place shown in drawing and let out gas from a rack.

Installation of the top basic cup of a spring
If the top basic cup of a spring departed from a rack pillow, connect a cup and a pillow by means of a bilateral sticky tape.

Installation of a telescopic rack (самоконтрящейся nuts)
Be convinced of the correct landing of the bearing.

ATTENTION
Use of a shock key for compression of the adaptation (МВ991237) is not allowed: the special tool will break.

For compression of a spring of a suspension bracket use the following special tool.
– МВ991237: the device for spring compression.
– МВ991238: set of levers.
As at this stage the spring is compressed by the special tool, temporarily tighten a rack nut (самоконтрящуюся a nut).
Combine an opening of the bottom basic cup with an opening of the top basic cup.

ATTENTION
Use a core for simplification of performance of this operation.

Combine the bottom end of a spring with deepening in the bottom basic cup, then remove the special tool.

ATTENTION
Application of a shock key for a wraparound самоконтрящейся nuts on is allowed, otherwise the rack nut (самоконтрящаяся a nut) will be damaged.

Using the following special tool, tighten a rack nut (самоконтрящуюся a nut) the moment 60 + 10 N · m.

Check
Check a condition of the bearing of a telescopic rack on wear or corrosion existence.
Check a condition of rubber details on existence of damages or destruction.
Check a condition of a spring of a suspension bracket on existence of deformation, damages or destruction.
Check a condition of a telescopic rack on existence of deformations.
