5.2.1. Check of a free wheeling and check of an angle of rotation of a steering wheel

At the working engine (the hydrosystem also works), establish forward wheels in the provision of rectilinear movement.
Measure a free wheeling on an external circle of a steering wheel prior to the beginning of turn of operated wheels in both directions of turn of a steering wheel.
Limiting value: 30 mm.
If the free wheeling surpasses extremely value, check a free wheeling on a steering column and in connections of a steering drive. Repair or replace.
If the free wheeling surpasses limiting value, establish a steering wheel in the provision of rectilinear movement and muffle the engine. Make effort in 5 N on a tangent a circle of a steering wheel and shaking a steering wheel in both directions measure its free wheeling.
Nominal rate (a free wheeling of a steering wheel at the idle engine): no more than 10 mm.
If the free wheeling of a steering wheel surpasses nominal rate, remove the steering mechanism and check size of the general moment of the beginning of a provorachivaniye of a gear wheel of the steering mechanism.
Establish a forward wheel on the adaptation for measurement of radius of turn and measure углол steering turn.
Nominal rate:
Internal wheel: 34°50 '+1°30';
External wheel (help value): 29°20’.
If the angle of rotation does not correspond to norm, adjust a convergence of forward wheels as follows.
Nominal rate: on the average line of a protector of the tire of 1+2 mm.
Convergence size (on a wheel) 0°03 '±05'.
Weaken lock-nuts and remove collars from the goffered protective covers.
Adjust a convergence of forward wheels, rotation (in an opposite direction) the right and left coupling coupling of cross-section drafts on the same distance.

NOTE
The convergence decreases, if the left coupling coupling to rotate to a forward part of the car, the right coupling coupling to rotate to a back part of the car.

Tighten lock-nuts of coupling couplings the nominal moment and fix protective covers collars.
Nominal moment of an inhaling: 52 ±2 N · m.
Repeatedly check an angle of rotation.
