5.2.7. Air removal from system

Carry out air removal from system after replacement of the steering mechanism or lines of a hydraulic actuator of the amplifier of the steering mechanism.
Lift and fix forward wheels of the car.
Disconnect sockets of the coil of ignition.

ATTENTION
Removal of air make only an engine prokruchivaniye a starter. If to make air removal at the working engine, air can get to working liquid. In the course of air removal, constantly fill up a tank with working liquid and watch, that its level did not fall below «MIN» label on a tank.

Several times scroll the engine a starter (in a current 15–20 c), and turn five-six times at full capacity a steering wheel to the left and to the right.
Connect sockets of the coil of ignition.
Start the engine (work idling).
Turn a steering wheel to the left-to the right, until then be not convinced yet of lack of vials of air in working liquid.
Be convinced of that working liquid has no dairy shade and its level is between labels "MOVE" and «MIN».
Be convinced also of little change of level of working liquid in a tank at turn of a steering wheel to the left and to the right.

ATTENTION
If liquid level sharply increases in a tank after an engine stop, it means incomplete removal of air from system. If air is not completely removed from system, it leads to emergence of abnormal noise in the hydropump and the valve of management of an expense, this condition leads to decrease in service life of elements of system of the amplifier of a steering.

Change of level of working liquid in a tank: within 5 mm.
Check a difference in levels of working liquid at the working and idle engine.
If this difference in levels surpasses 5 mm, it means incomplete removal of air from hydraulic actuator system. That is procedure of removal of air from system should be repeated.
