Removal of the brake mechanism of a back wheel assembled
Disconnect the brake mechanism of a back wheel in collecting and tie up it a wire or a cord to a car body.

For disclosure of a clamp of knot of a drive of the parking brake it is recommended to use a screw-driver with a flat sting. Remove a clamp of knot of a drive of the parking brake

Installation of a washer of a clamp of the lever of a drive of the parking brake

Establish a natyazhitel of brake shoes so that the adjusting bolt of the left back wheel had the direction to a forward part of the car, and an adjusting bolt of the right back wheel in the direction to a back part of the car.

It is impossible to interchange the position of coupling springs of brake shoes, as their characteristics differ. One of springs, imeyushchay a dark blue label, should be established closer to a forward part of the car, and another, having a yellow label, to a back part of the car.

ATTENTION
In drawing the left back wheel is shown. The right back wheel has specularly symmetric design of the brake mechanism.

Measure thickness of a brake slip in several places.
Nominal rate: 2,8 mm.
Limiting value: 1,0 mm.
If thickness of a brake slip less limiting value, replace brake shoes from both parties of the car. To change brake shoes only on the one hand it is not allowed.
Removal and installation of brake slips and drum-type mechanism
Measure internal diameter of a brake drum in several places.
Nominal rate: 168,0 mm.
Limiting value: 169,0 mm.
If internal diameter of a drum surpasses limiting value, or there is a considerable unilateral wear, replace a back brake drum.
