NOTE
The rotor of the sensor of frequency of rotation of a forward wheel is incorporated with shaft of a drive of a forward wheel and is not folding.

ATTENTION
Be attentive at the address with a polar tip of the sensor of frequency of rotation of a wheel and a gear surface of a rotor not to damage them about other details.

Removal and installation of sensors of frequency of rotation of a wheel
The distance between the sensor of frequency of rotation and a gear surface of a rotor of ABS is not regulated, but measure distance between a surface of installation of the sensor and a gear surface of a rotor.
Nominal size: 28,2–28,5 mm

Check of the sensor of frequency of rotation of a wheel
Check lack of any metal particles on a surface of a polar tip, and in case of their existence remove.
Also check absence of damages of a polar tip; at detection of those, replace the sensor.

NOTE
As in the sensor of frequency of rotation the magnet is established, the polar tip is magnetized, therefore to it extraneous metal materials are easily drawn. Besides, in case of damage of a polar tip, the sensor cannot correctly define frequency of rotation of a wheel.

Removal and installation of sensors of frequency of rotation of a wheel
Measure resistance between conclusions of the sensor of frequency of rotation of a wheel.
Nominal size: 1,0–1,5 kiloohms.
If internal resistance of the sensor of frequency of rotation does not correspond to nominal rate, replace it with the new.
Check absence of damages, break or bad contact in sensor wires; in case of detection of those, replace a wire with the new.

NOTE
For check of absence of damages to a sensor wire, remove from a body a bracket of fastening of wires, then bend and pull for a wire to check, whether there is a temporary rupture of contact.

Check of isolation of the sensor of frequency of rotation
Removal and installation of sensors of frequency of rotation of a wheel
Disconnect from the sensor all wires, and then measure resistance between conclusions 1 and 2 and the case of the sensor of frequency of rotation.
Nominal size: 100 kiloohms or are more.
If the size of resistance of isolation does not correspond nominal, replace the sensor of frequency of rotation of a wheel.

Gear rotor of the sensor of frequency of rotation of a wheel
Check absence of deformations or breakages of teeths of a rotor; at detection of those replace a rotor with the new.
