Check of level of electrolit in the storage battery

Check, whether there is an electrolit level between labels of the top and bottom level.

ATTENTION
If level of electrolit is below a label of the bottom level, the storage battery can blow up in use.
If level of electrolit is above a label of the top level, there can be a leakage of electrolit.

For check of density of electrolit use the thermometer and the areometer.
Standard value: 1,220–1,290 (at 20°С).
The density of electrolit changes at temperature change therefore for reduction of values of density to a certain temperature, the formula specified below is applied. For the purpose of definition of an admissibility of this density of electrolit, use settlement size.
D20 = (t – 20) x 0.0007 + Dt D20: the density of electrolit specified to temperature 20°С. Dt – areometer t indications – thermometer indications.

ATTENTION
At the incorrect SRS-ECU installation, the additional system of safety can not work that can lead to serious traumas or death of the driver and the forward passenger.

Believe existence of damages and corrosion on sockets. Replace SRS-ECU if during survey defects were revealed.

Safety cushion module, steering wheel and spring of hour type

Check existence of dents, cracks, deformations on a gas generator.

Check existence of damages on sockets and a braid, deformations of contacts of a spring of hour type.
Visually check absence of damages of the case of an hour spring.

ATTENTION
At detection of damages, it is necessary to replace these spare parts.

Combine adjusting labels of a spring of hour type and establish it, having turned a steering wheel in the provision of rectilinear movement.

Combination of adjusting labels
Turn a spring of hour type against the stop clockwise, then return it on 3/4 turns back and combine adjusting labels.

ATTENTION
If adjusting labels of a spring of hour type is inexact are combined, the steering wheel will not be turned completely at turn, or the flat wire being in a spring of hour type, can be damaged that will break normal work of SRS system, and it, possibly, can lead to serious traumas of the driver or the forward passenger.

Establish casings of a steering column, a steering wheel and the safety cushion module.
Check existence of noise and jammings at rotation of a steering wheel.

ATTENTION
In case of incorrect installation of one of the specified elements, the SRS system can not work that can lead to serious traumas or death of the driver and the forward passenger.

Check existence of damages on sockets, deformations of contacts and excesses in plaits of wires.

Check existence of dents and deformation on a prednatyazhitel of a seat belt.
Check correctness of installation of a prednatyazhitel on a car body.

Plait of wires of the panel devices / plait of wires of a forward part of the car / floor plait of wires

ATTENTION
The SRS system cannot be activated, if plaits of wires of SRS system or sockets are damaged, or incorrectly connected; it, in turn, can lead to serious traumas of the driver and passengers.

Check after installation of elements of SRS system

Again connect a negative wire to the storage battery. Turn the ignition key in the situation ON. Whether the control lamp of SRS system approximately on 7 lights up with, is switched off, and then again lights up not less than on 5 with? If yes, that the SRS system is serviceable.
