7.4.11. Tachometer check

Tachometer check
Insert a writing paper clip into the socket of the sensor of frequency of rotation of the engine from a plait of wires, and connect an external high-precision tachometer.

NOTE
For tachometer check, use an external high-precision inductive tachometer.

Compare indications of a tachometer of the car and an external tachometer on all turns of the engine, and check on compliance to nominal rates.
Nominal rates:
700 mines-1 ±100 mines-1;
3000 mines-1 ±150 mines-1;
5000 mines-1 of ± 250 mines-1;
6000 mines-1 of ± 300 mines-1.
