ATTENTION
Removing the module of a safety cushion and an hour spring observe security measures at service of SRS system, the module of a safety cushion and an hour spring.

Removal of a larva of the lock of ignition

Insert a key into a larva of the lock of ignition and turn it in the situation "ASS".
Using a krestovy screw-driver (+) (small) or the similar tool, press a lock pin of a larva of the lock of ignition inside and then pull a larva of the lock of ignition on itself.

Check of the lock of ignition
Remove the bottom and top covers of a steering column.
Disconnect the socket of a plait of wires from the ignition lock.
Turning a key, check a chain condition between conclusions.

Check of the sensor of existence of a key in the ignition lock
Disconnect, the socket of the sensor of existence of a key in the ignition lock from the sensor of existence of a key in the ignition lock.
Check a chain condition between conclusions of the socket of the sensor according to the table provided below when the key of the lock of ignition is inserted and taken.

Method of registration of an identification code
After acquisition of the new ignition key or replacement of the electronic control unit with an immobilizer, it is necessary for you to make registration of identification codes for each new key in the control unit an immobilizer. (The maximum quantity of traceable codes – eight).
Besides, after replacement of the electronic control unit with an immobilizer, it is necessary for you to make registration of the password established in the electronic control unit by an immobilizer (Similar information is stated in the Operation manual on the MUT-II device) by means of the MUT-II device.

ATTENTION
At registration of new identification codes all previous registered codes will be erased. In this regard it is necessary for you to have in stock all ignition keys which codes are already registered earlier.

Removal and installation of the lock of ignition
Connect MUT-II to the diagnostic socket.

ATTENTION
Connection and MUT-II detachment always should be carried out at the switched-off ignition.

Use the ignition key which are going to register to turn the ignition lock in the situation "ON" ("VKL".).
Use MUT-II for registration of an identification code. If you register two or more codes, use the following ignition key, which are going to register to turn the ignition lock in the situation "ON" ("VKL".), without disconnecting MUT-II.
Disconnect MUT-II. It will finish registration operation.
