7.6.1. Technical operations on the car

Check of level of a coolant through viewing glass
Start the engine.
Turn on the conditioner, establish a mode of the maximum cooling of air.
Keep frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine at level of 1500 mines-1.
Define coolant level through viewing glass.

ATTENTION
Use the pressure decrease valve.

ATTENTION
Address on charging station a coolant as the user cannot correctly estimate quantity of a coolant in system through viewing glass.


Check of the electromagnetic coupling
Disconnect the socket of the electromagnetic coupling from the coupling.
Connect (+) the storage battery to the socket of the electromagnetic coupling.
If the electromagnetic coupling is serviceable, "click" should be audible If between a pulley of a drive and a rotor there is no contact ("click"), it testifies to malfunction existence.

Check of the sensor of double pressure
Disconnect the socket of the sensor of double pressure and connect the lateral plugs of high/low pressure located from a plait of wires, as is shown in drawing.
Connect a measuring collector to the service valve from a high pressure of the line of a coolant.
When the party of high/low pressure of the sensor of double pressure is under the influence of the working pressure, the measured resistance should not exceed 2 Ohm. At a rupture of a chain, replace the sensor.

Filling
At the handles turned back to the full (the valve is closed), establish the valve adapter from low pressure of a measuring collector.
Connect a charging hose (dark blue color) to the valve adapter.
Connect quick-detachable connection (for low pressure) to a charging hose (dark blue color).

ATTENTION
Apply only such adaptations and tools which are compatible to R134а coolant.
To establish quick-detachable connection, press connection section, and also carry out a hand along an attached hose to be convinced of lack of excesses.

Connect quick-detachable connection (for low pressure) to the service valve of low pressure.

ATTENTION
The service valve of low pressure should be connected to an elastic bringing hose.

Close valves of high and low pressure on a measuring collector.

ATTENTION
Do not forget to connect the power socket of the vacuum pump to the adapter of the vacuum pump, and then to connect the adapter with the power socket to a source of 100 Century.

Establish the adapter of the vacuum pump to the vacuum pump.
Connect a charging hose (yellow color) to connecting port of coolant R-134a of the adapter of the vacuum pump.
Tighten the valve adapter handle (the valve is open).
Open the valve of low pressure of a measuring collector.
Establish a perklyuchatel of the vacuum pump in included («ON») situation.

ATTENTION
Even at established in included («ON») situation the switch of the vacuum pump, the vacuum pump will not earn because of the connection executed at a stage 6.

ATTENTION
To use the conditioner compressor at removal of a coolant it is not allowed.

Turn the switch of the adapter of the vacuum pump towards R134a to start the vacuum pump.
Removal of a coolant occurs at depression not above 100 kPas (occupies about 10 mines).

ATTENTION
Do not turn on the conditioner compressor under depression: it will lead to its damage.

Completely weaken the valve adapter (the valve is closed), switch off the vacuum pump the switch. Then leave everything for five minutes.
Check a system condition on tightness (the size of depression should not decrease).
Connect the valve to a charging cylinder (with a coolant) with completely released handle of the valve (the valve is closed).
Completely turn out a valve adapter tap (the valve is closed), remove it from a measured collector and on its place establish a charging cylinder.
Tighten the handle of the charging valve (the valve is closed) to pierce a charging cylinder.

ATTENTION
If to overturn a charging cylinder, the liquid coolant can flow in the compressor and damage it pressure of liquid. Hold a charging cylinder vertically (without overturning) to be sure that the coolant charges system in a gaseous state.

Turn the handle of the charging valve back (the valve is open) and tighten the valve adapter handle (the valve is open) for a system charging a coolant.
If the coolant does not fill system, turn the valve adapter back against the stop (the valve is closed).
Check existence of leakages of gas by means of the detector of leaks. In the presence of leaks, tighten connections, and repeat procedure of filling of system by a coolant from a stage (11).

ATTENTION
The detector of leaks for coolant R-134a should be used.

Start the engine.
Turn on the conditioner, establish a mode of the minimum temperature (MAX. COOL).
Keep frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine at level of 1 500 mines-1.

ATTENTION
If to overturn a charging cylinder, the liquid coolant can flow in the compressor and damage it pressure of liquid. Hold a charging cylinder vertically (without overturning) to be sure that the coolant charges system in a gaseous state.
Tighten the valve adapter handle (the valve is open) to fill system with necessary quantity of a coolant.
Upon termination of system filling with a coolant, turn the valve adapter back against the stop (the valve is closed).

Tighten the handle of the charging valve (the valve is closed). Disconnect the quick-detachable socket (for low pressure) from the service valve of low pressure.
Disconnect a charging cylinder.

ATTENTION
If the charging cylinder still contains a coolant quantity, densely close the charging valve and the valve adapter that will keep a coolant for the following filling.
