7.6.4. Technique of elimination of a leak of a coolant

System category
If the system lost all coolant owing to its leak, make the actions described below.
Empty system.
Fill system with a coolant: approximately from 480 to 520 g.
Check existence of leaks.
Empty system.
Eliminate leaks.

ATTENTION
Replacement of knot of the filter dehumidifier is made at the idle conditioner. The dehumidifier applied in these installations, is quickly sated with water from the air atmosphere. At dehumidifier installation, prepare all necessary tools and materials for its fast replacement as little as possible to keep system opened on air.

Replace a receiver dehumidifier.
Empty and fill system.

Small category of system
If the system did not lose all charge of a coolant, find and eliminate places of leakage of a coolant. If it is necessary, lift pressure in system for simplification of search of places of leaks by coolant addition. If it is possible, eliminate leakage of a coolant without a system oporozhneniye; in this case at additional charge of system use the corresponding technique.

Pipelines and connections
Loops on pipelines or sharp bends of hoses of central air sharply reduce system effectiveness. In this case pressure in system elements sharply raises at operation of the conditioner. It is necessary to give special attention to reliability of fastening of all connections of system. Dirt and moisture can get to system at its repair in the course of replacement of lines or system elements. It is necessary to take into consideration the following precautionary measures. Before a rassoyedineniye of any fitting of central air, the system should be completely emptied. Even at completely emptied system, the rassoyedineniye of a fitting of system should be made with extra care. If the pressure remains in system are noticed at a detachment of a fitting, stravlivany pressure should be made very slowly.
Change of a form of pipelines by their repeated bend is not allowed. Use of pipelines original is allowed are flexible at their installation. For flexible hoses the rule of limiting radius of a bend is established: it should be not less than 10 diameters of a hose. The smaller radius of a bend reduces fluidity of a coolant. Flexible hoses of central air on should lie closer than 80 mm from a final collector of the engine. The good rule considered annual survey of flexible hoses of system: their condition and condition of consolidations.
In the presence of uplotneniiya such as ring laying: their repeated use is not allowed.

Check of noise level of the conditioner
It is necessary to know the reasons of emergence of extraneous noise at operation of the compressor. These reasons can be: weather, speed of the car, movement on transfer or nakaty, a thermal condition of the engine and other reasons.
Appearing noise in operating time of the conditioner can sometimes bring into error. For example: noise of the worn-out bearing or the weakened rod can be caused by weakening of bolts, nuts, assembly arms or the worn-out electromagnetic coupling. Check a tension of belts of a drive (the hydraulic booster of a steering, the generator). The wrong tension of belts of a drive can cause distracting noise at turning on of the compressor and decrease or absence of noise at compressor shutdown. Belts of a drive are very sensitive to speed. At various frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine and depending on a tension of belts, belts can publish such sound which is easy for confusing with noise at mechanical malfunctions of the compressor.

Adjustment
Choose a silent zone for carrying out check. Repeatedly repeat the same situation at check. Several times switch on and off the conditioner clearly to allocate the noise made by the conditioner. For modeling of severe conditions of environment (high pressure), limit a consumption of air through a kondensor. Establish a measuring collector for creation on an exit of pressure of not exceeding 2070 kPas.
Tighten all assembly bolts of the compressor, bolts of fastening of the coupling, pull a belt of a drive of the compressor. Check a condition of a winding of the electromagnetic coupling of the compressor (lack of a provorachivaniye or mobility).
Check a condition of hoses of central air on existence of a mutual friction or an interlacing that can cause additional noise.
Check a charging a coolant.
Again check noise existence from a stage 1.
If noise remained, weaken bolts of fastening of the compressor and перезатяните them. Repeat a stage 1.
If now noise remained, replace the compressor and repeat check from a stage 1.
